The Worst Thing About Winter…

I am a person that absolutely hates the cold and even living in Central California it tends to get too cold for me during the winter. I can’t imagine what it would be like living back east in New York and the surrounding as well as Chicago where every year you always hear the news stories about how much snow they have.

I has to be quite a chore to have to deal with so much snow which means waking up earlier due to slower traffic or having to removing the few feet of snow blocking you in your house. That would be the worst part is having to go outside just to remove the snow so that you can go somewhere. I hazard to guess that a lot of people in these areas either have major back problems or just call in sick to work when it is a major snow day. I’d also guess that a lot of people probably own snowblowers to make it easier to clear out the snow. I wonder how many of those are john deere snowblowers?

In any case having to deal with the extreme cold, snow and just overall gloomy days just isn’t even worth it to me. I’m not sure how much you’d have to pay me to live there and put up with that everyday during the colder times of the year but I know it would have to be a lot of money!
